Course Description
Even with the best intentions and solid ideas, there will always be individuals both within and outside your organization ready to challenge you or others.
Achieving objectives often means clashing with those who have different goals. While personality differences can be a factor, conflicts often arise due to:
- Genuine opposing interests.
- Ambiguities in roles and authority levels.
- Incentives that favor competition over collaboration.
- Lack of accountability or transparency in actions or statements.
To address these, try stepping into others’ shoes to understand their objectives without jumping to negative conclusions about their motives.
” While it might be tempting to focus on superficial or irrelevant causes of conflict, doing so risks overlooking the root causes that need addressing. “
