Course Description
“Coming together is a beginning, Keeping together is progress, Working together is Success – Henry Ford.”
One bad apple, the saying goes, can ruin the bunch. So, too, with employees. One toxic team member is all it takes to destroy a high-performing team.
Uncivil behavior at work damages productivity far more than most managers would imagine. Among co-workers, it appears easier to learn bad behavior than good.
For managers, it is important to realize that the costs of a problematic employee go beyond the direct effects of that employee’s actions — bad behaviors of one employee spill over into the behaviors of other employees through “Peer Effects.”
Whatever you call it, bullying, harassment, and gossip, – it all matters to you if you have bad attitudes, jealousy and disruptive behavior that sabotages your organizations teamwork, employee morale, lowers self-esteem and reduces productivity and undermines your reputation in the community.
When toxic behavior infects a department, managers may be tempted to ignore it or give in, the wrong thing to do, but tolerating it is not a solution!
This resource loaded, fast paced webinar will:
- Provide the participants with the tools to analyze the impact of negative workplace on employee relationships, job performance, and organization’s overall performance.
- You will learn how with right tools you can avoid negativity that may seep into your departments.

Why you should attend
When you have rude, indifferent, emotionally troubled, over-worked and dis-engaged employees, they will do more harm to your business and employee productivity than you can afford. But for such a prevalent problem, many managers are not equipped with the solutions to handle or avoid negativity that may seep into their departments.
As per a survey of victims of toxicity in the workplace in U.S. companies:
- 66% said their performance declined
- 80% lost work time worrying about the incident
- 78% said their commitment to the organization declined
Businesses need teamwork to function. And teams need to be more collaborative, adaptable, and proactive than ever. Leaders play a very crucial role in making this happen.
Whether you are in charge of a corporation, small business, charitable organization or department, this virtual seminar provides the participants with the tools to analyze and implement positive change that will improve attitude and raise productivity.
Methods discussed in the training can even turn around an individual employee suffering from low morale by providing the framework for enhanced performance and job satisfaction.
